UK: Annual CPI unchanged at 2.8% in March

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to data released today by National Satistics, UK annual inflation rose 2.8% in March, following 2.8% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis UK CPI rose 0.3% in March, down from +0.7% in February, slightly below expectations of a 0.4% increase.

Year-over-year Core CPI ticked up 2.4% in March, following a 2.3% rise in February, slightly higher than market consensus of +2.3%.
