US stocks end slightly lower

FXStreet (Córdoba) - US stocks concluded with slight losses a choppy session on Wednesday after posting big losses the previous day amid growing expectations of a rate hike by the Fed.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.2% and closed at 17,635. The S&P 500 fell 0.2% to 2,040, while the Nasdaq also shed 0.2% and ended at 4,849.

Meanwhile the dollar built on yesterday’s gains, dragging EUR/USD to a fresh 12-year low of 1.0510.

RBNZ leaves rate unchanged at 3.5%

At today’s meeting, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand decided to keep Official Cash Rate unchanged at 3.5% for fifth month in a row.
